Port Not Valid
If you receive an error message that your port is not valid, you are may be entering an incorrect port number. Port numbers start with a three-letter prefix, and in most resident halls, the prefix is followed by a letter and a three-digit, odd number (even numbers are for telephones). For example, JEEA115 is a valid network port, but JEEA116 is not.
If you live in SJH (San Jacinto Hall) or WC (Whitis Court), the prefix is followed by a four-digit odd or even number. For instance, SJH0115 and SJH0116 could both be valid network ports.
