Can I use a hub or switch in my room?

The use of wired hubs and switches is allowed. However, bandwidth limits for your outlet remain the same no matter how many computers you have connected to it. Also, you must be the only person using all machines connected to that hub.

Tampering with outlets in any way is strictly forbidden. You will be held accountable for any improper activity that occurs on your port. If your hub or device has wireless capabilities, disable that functionality.
